HILLIARD MEMORIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL: 12
The boys lax team lost for the first time last night to Hilliard Memorial by a score of 12-11. It was a hard fought game the entire time, with the Eagles making a great comeback to tie the score at 11-11 after being down by 3 goals to start the fourth quarter. The deciding goal came with just over a minute left in regulation time.
Carter Weatherhead played a great game for the Eagles with great effort on defense and the transition game. Carter also scored twice, netting his first two goals of the season. Other goal scorers included Auggie, Peyton, Gavin, and Maclain. Jalen and Landon Legg played tough, physical defense as usual.
