Girls Middle School Wrestling @ Logan Tournament 2.8.26

BWMS Girls Wrestling competed in their final competition Sunday at Logan. Boys 7th Basketball vs. Pickerington Lakeview @ Dublin Invitational

The 7th grade defeated Pick Lakeview in the Dublin Invitational on Saturday, Feb 7.The Eagles led at half 25-16 and held off a late Pickerington charge to win 46-41. Lucca Pentello led with 11 points, Lucas Evans added 9 with Mason Lastivka and Braxton Scholl each with 7. The team finished with a record of 14 and 3 on the season.  

Boys Middle School Wrestling vs. New Albany Middle School

The boys wrestling team earned back-to-back wins over quality opponents, defeating New Albany 57-32 before traveling to Watkins Memorial yesterday and capturing another team victory, 66-37.Winning by pin for the Eagles were Braylon Stewart, Frank Barnes, Gavin Grieger, Dakota Scarbury, Colt Wilson-Salisbury, Noah Pusateri, Callen Frame, James Scarbrough, Jonathan Tillar, and Patrick Kalse. 

Girls 7th Basketball vs. Minerva Park Middle School

BW 7th girls had a dominant win against Minerva Park 41-19. Addie Willeke and Baylor Brinkerhoff led the team in points with 7 each and Eden Forman led the team in rebounds with 8.  

Girls 8th Basketball vs. Berkshire Middle School

The Eagles played another outstanding game, handing Berkshire their first loss of the season with a dominant 56-20 victory.It was a complete team effort on both ends of the court. Aubrey Cooperrider led all scorers with 20 points shooting 3 for 4 from the 3, while Brooklyn Harper added 14 and Elli Hilton contributed 12. Izzy Lyon controlled the boards, leading the team with 7 rebounds. Abby Hershberger added 5 boards of her own.Defensively, Elli Hilton brought relentless energy with 7 steals and also dished out 6 assists. Savanna Wrinkle protected the paint with 4 electric blocks.  

Boys 8th Basketball vs. Berkshire Middle School

8th grade boys put together a solid second half defensive effort and went on to defeat Berkshire 40-31.Koben Biehl had the hot hand for the Eagles scoring 12 points and Grant Harris added 11. The team is now 6-1 on the season

Boys 7th Basketball vs. Berkshire Middle School

The 7th grade boys fell just shy of a victory with a loss to Olentangy Berkshire 36-38.The Eagles were hurt with illness across the team but were able to make a great comeback to nearly grab the win. Scoring was led by Mason Lastivka with 13 and Lucca Pentello and Isaiah Brigee each adding 8.  

Girls 8th Basketball vs. Perry Middle School-Worthington

8th grade dominated defensively to secure a 50-9 victory over Worthington Perry Wolves.Nearly every Eagles cored points off of 19 steals. Scoring leaders for BW was Brooklyn Harper who shot 2 for 3 from 3 with 12 points. Elli Hilton was perfect from the free throw line and added 10 points. Kate Muchone 9 pointsAubrey Cooperrider 7 pointsSavannah Wrinkle, Alexis Blazer and Abby Hershberger had 4 points a piece Elli Hilton and Aubrey Cooperrider had 5 steals a pieceRebounding was a total team effort. Savannah Wrinkle cleaned the glass with a team leading 8 rebounds while every Eagle had at least 1.The Eagles return to action Wednesday against Berkshire.

Girls 7th Basketball vs. Perry Middle School-Worthington

7th grade defeated Worthington Perry 41-2. They had great team defense. Harper Swonguer and Isla Glaze led the team in points with 12. Peyton Rigby and Harper Swonguer both had 5 steals to help secure the win and Aubrey Nelson with a big time 3 in the 4th quarter. 

Girls Middle School Wrestling vs. Dempsey Middle School

MS battled tough and finished with a respectable loss to Dempsey 54-36. Wins came from Rhegan Chadwick, Kennedy Salsburey, Brooklyn Perkins, Emilee Norris, and Lilly Franklin.Great job Eagles! 

Boys 7th Basketball vs. Perry Middle School-Worthington

7th grade jumped out to a 23-5 halftime lead and finished with a 50-19 victory. The win puts the team at 6-0 for the season. The Eagles were paced by outstanding defense and solid outside shooting.  

Girls Middle School Wrestling vs. Olentangy Orange Middle School

Big Walnut MS Girls Wrestling had a home dual against a very strong Orange MS team. Big Walnut lost 48-36, but gave us some forfeits due to injury and illness. Winning by pin were Kennedy Salsburey, Eva Woodruff, Emily Norris, Maya Graves, and Emma Furan. Rhegan Chadwick and Lilly Franklin secured Forfeits also. Next up the MS wrestles alongside the HS Girls at Delaware Thursday night. GO EAGLES!!

Boys Middle School Wrestling vs. Olentangy Shanahan Middle School

The boys wrestling team competed against Olentangy Shanahan last night and came away with a strong 66-13 victory. Winning by pin were Braylon Stewart, Rocco Woods, Frank Barnes, Brock Oney, Baker McClain, Dakota Scarbury and Callen Frame. The Eagles take on New Albany MS next Wednesday at home. 

Girls 8th Basketball vs. Beulah Park Middle School

In a very physcial game the 8th grade Eagles handles the physicality and won 65-7BW shot over 50% from the field - from the field.3 Eagles scored in double digitsAubrey Cooperrider with 20, Elli Hilton with 19 and Kate Muchone added 10. Scoring was rounded out with 8 from Savannah Wrinkle, 4 by Abby Hershberger and 2 a piece from Alexis Blazer and Izzy Lyon.The Eagles had 20 steals on the night led by Elli Hilton with 9. BW also dominated on the glass led by Abby Hershberger with 7 rebounds and Izzy Lyon with 6. 

Girls 7th Basketball vs. Beulah Park Middle School

7th grade girls pulled off a victory with a score of 28-5 against a very physical team. Peyton Rigby and Harper Swonguer put up a tough fight and contributed to the team every chance they got. Harper led the team in scoring with Isla Glaze leading in rebounds.LETS GO EAGLES!

Boys 8th Basketball vs. Beulah Park Middle School

8th grade boys jumped out to a 15-2 first quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Beulah Park 45-23. It was a solid team effort with ten different players scoring for our Eagles. Koben Biehl led the way with 12 points, Carson Pollock had 8, Joey Weatherby with 6 while CJ Daniel, Wyatt Griggs, and Grant Harris each contributed 4. The boys will be on the road to Worthington Perry 12.11.25, tip off 5:30. 

Boys 7th Basketball vs. Beulah Park Middle School

The 7th grade imporoved to 5-0 on the season by defeating Beulah Park by a score of 61-21. Eagles were lead by team defense to pace the game. Scoring led by Lucca Pentello with 18, Braxton Scholl with 16, Isaiah Brigee with 8 and Lucas Evans with 7. GO EAGLES!!

Girls Middle School Wrestling vs. OPEN

On Sunday, both the MS Girls and HS Girls competed in the Lady Scot Invitational at Highland. MS girls finished 4th out of 26 teams. Leading the charge were top 5 finishers:Emilee Norris (7) and Lilly Franklin (8) 3rd placeMaya Graves (7) and Keely Corbel (8) 4th place.

Girls 7th Basketball vs. Dempsey Middle School

Big Walnut 7th grade girls defeated Delaware Dempsey 57-23, with a complete team effort with everyone scoring. Brianna Peterson had great defense, Harper Swonguer lead the team in points with 11, Peyton Rigby close behind with 10, and Isla Glaze had 9 rebounds. 

Boys 8th Basketball vs. Dempsey Middle School

The 8th grade boys prevailed in a hard fought physical game on the road against Dempsey with a final score of 26-23. The Eagles played great team defense in the low scoring close game. Leading the way in scoring was JJ Loeffler with 8 pints, Carson Pllock had 7, and Koben Biehl added 6. The boys will be home Tuesday vs Beulah Park.
