The Eagles played another outstanding game, handing Berkshire their first loss of the season with a dominant 56-20 victory.It was a complete team effort on both ends of the court. Aubrey Cooperrider led all scorers with 20 points shooting 3 for 4 from the 3, while Brooklyn Harper added 14 and Elli Hilton contributed 12. Izzy Lyon controlled the boards, leading the team with 7 rebounds. Abby Hershberger added 5 boards of her own.Defensively, Elli Hilton brought relentless energy with 7 steals and also dished out 6 assists. Savanna Wrinkle protected the paint with 4 electric blocks.

The 7th grade boys fell just shy of a victory with a loss to Olentangy Berkshire 36-38.The Eagles were hurt with illness across the team but were able to make a great comeback to nearly grab the win. Scoring was led by Mason Lastivka with 13 and Lucca Pentello and Isaiah Brigee each adding 8.

Scoring leaders for BW was Brooklyn Harper who shot 2 for 3 from 3 with 12 points. Elli Hilton was perfect from the free throw line and added 10 points. 7th grade defeated Worthington Perry 41-2. They had great team defense. Harper Swonguer and Isla Glaze led the team in points with 12. Peyton Rigby and Harper Swonguer both had 5 steals to help secure the win and Aubrey Nelson with a big time 3 in the 4th quarter.

Big Walnut MS Girls Wrestling had a home dual against a very strong Orange MS team. Big Walnut lost 48-36, but gave us some forfeits due to injury and illness. Winning by pin were Kennedy Salsburey, Eva Woodruff, Emily Norris, Maya Graves, and Emma Furan. Rhegan Chadwick and Lilly Franklin secured Forfeits also. Next up the MS wrestles alongside the HS Girls at Delaware Thursday night. GO EAGLES!!

The boys wrestling team competed against Olentangy Shanahan last night and came away with a strong 66-13 victory. Winning by pin were Braylon Stewart, Rocco Woods, Frank Barnes, Brock Oney, Baker McClain, Dakota Scarbury and Callen Frame. The Eagles take on New Albany MS next Wednesday at home.

8th grade boys jumped out to a 15-2 first quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Beulah Park 45-23. It was a solid team effort with ten different players scoring for our Eagles. Koben Biehl led the way with 12 points, Carson Pollock had 8, Joey Weatherby with 6 while CJ Daniel, Wyatt Griggs, and Grant Harris each contributed 4. The boys will be on the road to Worthington Perry 12.11.25, tip off 5:30.

Walter brings a strong blend of playing excellence, coaching experience, and a passion for youth development that will serve the program well as she steps into her new role.Personal & Educational BackgroundA native of Pataskala, Ohio, Walter grew up surrounded by family support from her parents, Johna and Shawn, and her two younger brothers, Kevin and Nathan. She graduated from Watkins Memorial High School before attending Otterbein University, where she earned a degree in Primary (PK–5) Education.
