On Saturday, Dempsey visited for a doubleheader and took two from the Eagles.
In the first game, Ashlyn Greathouse hit 2 homeruns plus a triple while contributing solid pitching from the circle. After being down 12 to 6 in the 6th inning, the Eagles used good base running and hits from Jenna Couser and Maggie Adams to cut the lead to one. But the rally came up 60 feet short.
In the second game, the Eagles could not overcome the quick start by the Pacers. Chloe Rice had 2 two hits in the comeback effort.
