On Friday, February 22, 2019, the Big Walnut Girls Bowling team nearly won the Central District Sectional Championship. Out of 37 total teams, the Lady Eagles placed second just 15 pins short of Westerville Central with a team score of 3762.  The second place finish for the Lady Eagle was the highest finish in school
