Colbi Borland finished her Cross Country season as the most accomplished distance runner in Big Walnut history.
Saturday, Colbi placed 33rd, her highest finish ever, with a time of 18:57.9 at the Cross Country State Championships held at National Trails in Hebron, Ohio.
The Lipscomb University signee completed her high school career as a three time state qualifier, four time regional qualifier, three time regional placer, four time district placer, and four time OCC-Capital champion. She has also been named to the All-Ohio Academic team the past three seasons.
Colbi has practically broke or set every school record in the history book for meet and grade level. We can’t wait to see what she does during her last indoor track and outdoor track seasons in which she has already qualified to the indoor state meet the past two seasons, has been a district placer in six events, qualified to the regional in five events, placed in the regional in three events, placed in the OCC-Capital in ten times, winning nine titles.
Congratulations, Colbi on an amazing season, and an incredible Cross Country career!
