The Big Walnut Swim Team had their second meet of the season against Shelby High School on Thursday, January 7th. The Big Walnut Boys team scored their second win of the season beating Shelby 118-61. The boys team dominated coming in first place in all relay events and taking first place in seven individual events. Even though the Big Walnut Girls team had a loss to Shelby they showed improvement with a higher scoring meet than the last taking first place in three events. The girls team lost to Shelby 98-58.
The team had many personal best times.

The Big Walnut Swim and Dive team continues to grow in size with 54 students participating this school year. They are coached by Becky Brigham, Kate Bendure-Sweeney, Jenn White, Josie Sweeney, Judah Armbrust and Jennifer Smith. Their next meet will be on January 16 with the team being split into two locations and competitions. Schools they will be competing against include Liberty High School, Pickerington North High School and Pickerington Central High School.
