The Big Walnut Boys qualified for the Best of the Best Tournament for the first time in the Boys Team history. The field is made up of the best teams in the State based on last years results.
Big Walnut placed 8th making it into the championship roll off led by Freshman Aidan Furukawa. Aidan Placed 1st overall shooting a tournament high series of 713 and Tournament high game of 280. The Eagles took the top rated team in the tournament to the 5th game in race to 3 out of 5 wins in a bakers series. Big Walnut won the first and third game, just missing out on game 4 in the 10th frame. Massillon Perry then pulled out the 5th and final game. This was a great achievement and a great start to a very promising season for the Big Walnut Boys Team.
