Golden Eagles News · Great Start for Boys Track and Field

Spring Break was a busy week of competition for the boys track and field team. On Tuesday March 30th our boys competed against Westerville Central to open the outdoor season. Thanks to many outstanding performances the boys won in impressive fashion 88-49 over Central. Then on Saturday April 3rd our boys competed in the Newark Invitational. What an exciting meet! Our team was tied with Thomas Worthington going into the final event, the 4 x 400 relay. The race came down to the wire with Thomas Worthington edging us by .4 secs giving them a 2 point victory. Our boys finished 2nd place out of 8 teams. Contributing to our runner-up finish were the following placers:
