More About 2025 Fall Sports - Information - Tryouts - Camps - Contact InformationEach year, the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award is given to one middle school male and one middle school female student-athlete from each school in the Ohio High School Athletic Association. This award is the highest honor a student athlete can achieve from our school. The award is named after a famous Ohio native, Archie Griffin, who was a two-time Heisman Trophy winner and a leader on and off the field. The purpose is to recognize those who exemplify the ideals of sportsmanship and demonstrate qualities like integrity, leadership, a positive attitude, academic discipline, humility and volunteerism. We are honored and proud to share that the 2024-25 Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award winners at BWMS are Brynlee Buirley and Jacob Arriaga. Congratulations to these two amazing student-athletes who go above and beyond in the athletic arena, the classroom and our community.
